Amanda is an enthusiastic and innovative professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and drive. Amanda has a degree in fashion merchandising as well as experience in client servicing, retail, buying and merchandising and collaborating with a team. She loves to help others and always puts the guest first. Amanda develops client relationships and ensures each client has a positive experience.

Chau, a first generation Vietnamese-American born to both Vietnamese immigrants, has been a part of The Spa at Spring Ridge family for over five years. She graduated from the Berks Career and Technology Center’s (BCTC) Cosmetology program with both a Nail Technician and a Cosmetology License. While at BCTC, Chau was in a nationwide student program called Skills USA where she competed in nail care, winning in-house, district, and then placing fourth at State completion for nail design. Following graduation from BCTC, she attended Berks Technical Institute (BTI) for Massage Therapy. Her specialties include nail care and design, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal, Sports & Seated, Geriatric, and Special Population as well as Hot Stone and an array of body treatments. Chau has always wanted to be in the spa industry since she was a little girl. She loves to indulge clients by helping with their specific aches as well as giving them knowledge; she loves education and learning so much that she wants to share her knowledge with clients. Chau is a great addition to The Spa at Spring Ridge team affirming, “I love the staff I work with and enjoy being able to pamper all the clients I see.”

Cristin began her passion for making others feel beautiful in 2009 when she began the cosmetology program at Metro Beauty Academy. In 2010, Cristin began her career as a hair stylist, with a focus on fostering relationships with her clients. Cristin’s goal has always been to customize every treatment to match the needs of her guests. With two years of stylist experience under her belt, Cristin sought to expand her reach toward other treatment services. She joined the front desk staff of The Spa at Spring Ridge at the beginning of 2012, diligently performing daily operational duties and assisting guests with scheduling and purchasing. Cristin later advanced to Front Desk Manager and became a service provider as well. Cristin received her certification in Brazilian waxing in 2011 and has since mastered the art of Brazilian wax, body waxing, and brow design along with providing airbrush-tanning services. Over the years, Cristin has maintained high standards of quality service, sanitation, knowledge, continuing education, and professional growth, which has allowed her to be well versed in the latest waxing techniques and trends. Cristin has the ability to make all who enter her airbrush tanning or waxing world feel warm, welcomed, and right at home. One of her best qualities is that she makes every guest feel comfortable when receiving any services with her.

The Spa at Spring Ridge is lucky to have found Jenny our Costa Rican beauty, who can provide a variety of services, and is bilingual in Spanish so she is able to help that large segment of The Spa and practice clientele. She graduated from the Metro Beauty Academy with her Aesthetics degree. Her expertise, versatility, and customer service helped Jenny to quickly build her book. The thing Jenny likes about working at The Spa is that she has so many state of the art devices and technologies to offer her clients and she loves the ongoing commitment of Dr. Schlechter to providing her continuing education. Whether it’s treating fine lines, wrinkles or sun spots, veins, or hair with a laser, or performing a variety of facials, she is driven to provide results for her clients!  Jenny points out, “I make sure to always do my best and ensure that all of my clients are happy and leave the spa feeling wonderful.”

We are excited to have Tracy back at the Spa at Spring Ridge after three years working for North Shore Aesthetics in Chicago for Dr. Schlechter, our Medical Director.

With 16 years of experience as a Licensed Aesthetician, Tracy particularly enjoys working on compromised skin, helping to restore it to its natural strength and resilience. She specializes in integrative treatments—the marriage of a holistic approach and the intelligent use of technology to achieve optimum results. Using the latest laser technologies and microneedling techniques enhances results and encourages growth in the skin’s strength.

Tracy is a certified body sugaring provider, using honey-like sugar paste to remove body hair without the rougher treatment of traditional waxing. She established quite a reputation for her sugaring skills and has developed a loyal following.

She is a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, certified by the Nutritional Therapy Association. Tracy has studied the effects of food, lifestyle, the state of our body systems and the interplay between these areas to better understand how they impact our largest organ—our skin. She takes these factors into account when making a treatment plan for her clients.

Violet graduated with honors, from Cortiva Institute School of Massage Therapy. She was born in Ecuador and grew up in Las Angeles and is also bilingual in Spanish. Violet focuses on several modalities which include Swedish relaxation massage, Myofascial release, and deep tissue release. The treatments she performs address individual needs of her clients allowing her to maintain their wellness through massage therapy. Violet has experienced first-hand how massage therapy can transform someone’s health and overall well-being. Recognizing the health benefits of massage is what convinced her to pursue this career. Violet is passionate about helping her clients and knowing that she can make a difference in someone’s life one massage at a time.
